INDIANAPOLIS (July 12, 2023) Safety Management Group (SMG), an industry-leading safety, environmental and quality services firm, hosted 120 golfers at its 21st Annual Charity Golf Outing on Friday, June 23, at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Indianapolis. The event raised more than $40,000 to support Riley Children’s Health and the Hoosier Burn Camp.

“This year’s tournament was once again a huge success,” said SMG President Randy Gieseking. “We know this event is impactful not only for the organizations it supports but also for the Indianapolis-area contractors who participate every year. It means a great deal to them to have a hand in supporting Riley and Hoosier Burn Camp, two incredibly meaningful organizations improving the quality of life for children right here in our community.”

“Riley Children’s Foundation is grateful to partner with Safety Management Group to accept this donation that helps us ensure every child receives quality health care at Riley,” said Alane Helmer, Riley Children’s Foundation AVP of Corporate and Foundation Giving. “Partnerships like this are so important as they fuel our mission to inspire people to invest in pediatric research, care and programs that support the physical and mental health of kids.”

SMG began hosting the annual tournament in 2002. Since then, the event has raised more than $500,000 in total funding for children’s health organizations in the Indianapolis area.
