Daniel Scott
Daniel Scott is a creative and strategic marketing leader with a passion for telling safety stories that connect. As Director of Creative Content & Marketing at Safety Management Group, he shapes the company’s brand strategy, digital presence, and communications to amplify the voice of safety in ways that resonate. Since joining SMG in 2022, Daniel has led integrated campaigns and initiatives that turn complex safety topics into clear, compelling messages for audiences from the field to the boardroom.
With more than 15 years of experience in media production, branding, and marketing strategy, Daniel’s career began in broadcast media before expanding into the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) space. His background includes developing demand-generation campaigns, managing SEO/PPC programs, driving social engagement, and executing account-based marketing efforts that deliver measurable ROI. He has directed award-winning multimedia projects, led creative teams, and partnered with organizations in construction, healthcare, manufacturing, and the built environment.
At SMG, Daniel oversees marketing strategy and execution, aligning content creation with broader business development goals. His work spans social media, digital advertising, tradeshows, webinars, and direct marketing—efforts designed to spark conversations, build trust, and strengthen client relationships. He also manages the production of orientation videos, training modules, and client-facing materials, ensuring each project supports both client outcomes and SMG’s growth objectives. Known for blending technical accuracy with marketing discipline, Daniel creates narratives that not only inspire but also drive action.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media from the University of Indianapolis. He lives in Broad Ripple with his wife, Susanna, and son, Theo, and spends his free time traveling, running, playing golf, and building LEGO with his son.
