LEADERSHIP TEAM

As Vice President of Technology at Safety Management Group, Bob Sheridan leads the strategic development and operational oversight of SMG’s technology initiatives, including the VERO safety platform. Since joining SMG in 2023, Bob has worked cross-functionally across the company to ensure that technology investments align with business growth and Client needs. He leads a diverse team that manages VERO operations, from development and implementation to support and contractor prequalification, advancing safety data visibility and performance at the field level. 

Prior to SMG, Bob held senior technology leadership roles across several industries. He was Senior Technology Director at Lids, where he implemented modern retail point-of-sale systems across 1,000+ locations, and served as Director of Product Management & Development at Batesville, driving innovation in e-commerce and enterprise software. His experience also includes leading digital strategy and sales support as IT Manager at Herff Jones. 

Bob earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Computer Science from Saint Joseph’s College. Based in Zionsville, IN, Bob remains active in the community through Saint Alphonsus Liguori Church and the Zionsville Century Club.
