Kent Huber serves as Executive Director of Strategic Accounts at Safety Management Group, where he focuses on building and expanding client relationships across key industries. With more than 30 years of experience in environmental health and safety leadership, Kent is known for his ability to connect with clients through empathy, experience, and a deep understanding of their operational challenges. He helps organizations strengthen their safety cultures, reduce risk, and implement sustainable programs that deliver measurable results.

Kent began his career in the U.S. Army, where a serious injury during the Gulf War shaped his lifelong commitment to safety and protecting others. After earning his degree in Health and Safety from Indiana State University, he gained extensive experience with companies such as Ashland Oil and Cummins Engine before launching his own safety consulting business. Over the years, he has worked across diverse industries, supporting teams in developing proactive, people-centered approaches to risk management and safety leadership.

In his role at SMG, Kent leads with a partnership mindset by emphasizing trust, communication, and client alignment as the foundation for long-term success. His focus on strategic growth and relationship-driven service reflects his belief that safety excellence is not just about compliance, but about caring for people and empowering them to thrive.

Outside of work, Kent enjoys connecting with others, mentoring emerging professionals, and bringing his people-first philosophy to every relationship he builds.
