Partnership Renewed between Safety Management Group and the Indiana Manufacturers Assocoaition
INDIANAPOLIS, December 18, 2009 – The Indiana Manufacturers Association (IMA) and Safety Management Group (SMG) have announced a partnership renewal that will continue to bring safety training courses and onsite consultation services to IMA members.
IMA and SMG will work together to continue to provide the members of the IMA exceptional safety and health education programs such as the OSHA 10- and 30-Hour General Industry outreach course and a comprehensive array of onsite audits and consultative services. As a result, IMA members will continue to have access to quality safety training courses and assistance on an ongoing basis.
IMA is the second oldest state manufacturer association in the United States, having been founded in 1901. Representing about 1,500 manufacturers in the state, with more than 500,000 employees, IMA has existed solely for the purpose of representing the interests of Indiana manufacturers for more than 107 years. Manufacturing is the most important contributor to jobs, wages and wealth creation in the State of Indiana. The jobs of another 1.3 million Hoosiers depend on the continuing existence, growth and future success of the manufacturing enterprise in Indiana.
