The first decision people make in the morning affects every other decision that is made throughout their day. Since the first day I began working with Safety Management Group I have been tasked with high expectations that are challenging, exciting and rewarding. Everyone that I have had contact with at Safety Management Group has been kind, helpful and energetic, which has made transitioning to a new company such a positive one. At Safety Management Group, I know where the finish line is and as their employee I appreciate their transparency. I would recommend anyone to come and work here.

One of the best things about working for Safety Management Group is how much they care about their associates. In a company as diverse as SMG, with associates scattered across the country, this can be a difficult task. I work onsite at a customer location and administratively support our team of approximately 20 associates. The environment is always fast-paced and challenging. My days are never boring and I enjoy being able to assist our associates and our customer. Each and every day provides opportunities to learn.
One of the best things about working for Safety Management Group is the people from the field to management. The managers and leadership team make a strong effort to get to know their associates on a professional level as well as a personal one. I like the adventure and variety of each project and the different fields such as power plants, petro chemical, new construction, agriculture and many others. I have the opportunity to travel across the country meeting new people and seeing new places. This keeps my job fun and interesting.
Working as a Safety Management Group associate over the last 14 years has given me great opportunities and work experience. Each day brings something different. I work in a segment of the company that, in essence, fills the gaps for our clients regarding their and health programs. My week involves safety training with employees, job site audits, mock OSHA surveys, equipment operator training, and more. Knowing that my daily interactions, with the people I’ve meet, makes an impact for their safety and well-being, gives me a strong sense of value with our company. Safety Management Group provides me this opportunity in a positive work environment along with the flexibility to be creative to meet the needs of our clients.
